Skin concerns a doctor should check first
Some changes need a doctor before any med spa treatment. A doctor can rule out a medical cause. A cosmetic treatment can follow once it has been evaluated.
- A mole or spot that is new, growing, bleeding or changing color
- Hair that falls out suddenly or in patches
- Painful, deep acne that does not improve
- A rash that does not clear
- New hair on the chin or chest, with irregular periods
